THE ART OF

CHARLES WYSOCKI

ABOUT THIS SITE

I discovered Charles Wysocki when I purchased some of his
prints reproduced on jigsaw puzzles. I have tried to get all of
them I could, and I would really like to have a nice collection
of his prints some day. But until then, I would like to share
what I've found so far with all who enter here.

This is not a dealer site,
nor do I have any items for sale.

THE MAN AND HIS ART

For over 25 years, Charles Wysocki has designed and
painted the Americana© Calendar. He is considered the
leader in this American country style of art.

Any longtime Charles Wysocki fan can tell you
about “Chuck”----his deep sense of patriotism, his
devotion to his family, his dedication to his craft. Many can
also attest to his genuine affection for his fans and how he
spends a few minutes with each when signing autographs at art
shows. It is Chuck’s warm Personality, and his ability to
translate his humor and love into canvas, which has attracted
such a large and loyal following.

The recipient of over 50 awards, Chuck has come a
long way from his early days and a commercial illustrator,
A graduate of the art Center School of Design in Los Angeles,
Charles Wysocki is today one of America’s most beloved
and respected artists.

The universal appeal of his work has led to the reproduction of his
images on many successful product, such as needlework kits,
collectible plates, puzzles and more.

A recent highlight in Chuck’s career includes a show at the Richard
Nixon Library. He was commissioned to paint the late president’s
boyhood home. He was also inducted into the U. S. Art magazine Hall
of Fame, which recognized him as one of the most influential artists
in the limited edition print field.

“I’m painting for the future,” says Chuck. And the
subject matter dearest to his heart? Home, poetry, patriotism,
sentiment, childhood and love, among others. Healthy, happy and
actively painting year-round, he is far from retiring, He and his
wife Liz enjoy a peaceful life in California and travel to New
England, and a favorite place to gather inspiration for future paintings.
